I am an experienced guitar tutor for children and have achieved excellent results with a wide range of pupils from different backgrounds. I have an advanced DBS check and can provide professional references from schools, academies and community centres where I work or have worked with children  in the past. 
With young children aged from 6-11 I usually approach the lessons with a view to teaching pupils how to read sheet music and/or TAB. Playing is approached note by note with strong emphasis on correct technique and all the reading skills acquired are transferable to other musical instruments. I can provide tuition to help pass classical, acoustic and electric guitar exams as well at parents’ request.
