Acoustic Lessons

One of the main styles I teach is the folk and blues fingerstyle on acoustic guitar, pioneered in the UK by the likes of acoustic legends John Renbourn and Bert Jansch back in the 60s and 70s. These lessons are typically for intermediate students and beyond  but if you are beginner and want to get started with the basics that’s no problem!

I have plenty of resource material and show all students how to read TAB, standard rhythm notation and give them exercises and pieces to work on the fretting and picking hand techniques. Below are a couple of videos to give you an idea of the tunes I work on with my students.
